Description

On the roof of start-up office concept B. on the Johan Huizingalaan in Amsterdam West, a roof garden was created where all employees that work at the office can relax, meet and take a break. It is in short a park at height.

This edible roof terrace, or rather roof park, is 1500m² in size and the first of its kind. On the roof there is a water feature, two jeu de boule courts, a large vegetable garden, fruit trees, a chicken coop and meeting places, both covered and in the open air with hammocks. To top it off, there are also two Trabants on the roof.

Samenvatting (Dutch description)

Uitdaging: Op het dak van startup kantoorconcept B. op de Johan Huizingalaan in Amsterdam West moest een prachtige daktuin komen waar alle werkenden in dit kantoor tot rust kunnen komen, kunnen vergaderen en pauze houden, kortom een park op hoogte.

Resultaat: Dit prachtige eetbare dakterras, of eigenlijk dakpark, is maar liefst 1500m2 groot en de eerste in zijn soort. Op dit dak is een waterpartij te vinden, twee jeu de boulebanen, een grote moestuin, fruitbomen, een kippenhok en vergaderplaasten, zowel overdekt als in de buitenlucht en met hangmatten. Om het af te maken staan er ook twee Trabantjes op het dak. Het dakpark is dus van alle markten thuis!
