Een circulair fietspad met een koolstofopslag van ongeveer 60 kg/m3 en een cementreductie van meer dan 50% ten opzichte van traditionele methoden voor de constructie van fietspaden.

Waarom is dit fietspad circulair?

• "Dit pad kan worden opgedeeld in elementen voor verdere toepassing in muurconstructies. Xiriton zaagsel en grit kunnen volledig worden gerecycled in mortels voor nieuw tufsteen zoals Xiriton.
• Alternatieven voor het zandcomponent en de coating: schelsgrit, baksteengrit, fijne fractie van gerecycled beton.
• Kweek C4-gassen als "biobased grondstof" geïntegreerd in de omgeving op braakliggende percelen, waardoor meer ecologische waarde ontstaat en er een zeer effectieve koolstofopname plaatsvindt.
