Description

At Blairtummock Park, 275m of the Whamflett Burn has been deculverted to provide morphology, urban cooling and bio-diversity benefits, as well as providing more space for the water in the form of re-creating floodplain storage to help manage existing and future flood risk driven by climate change. The increased drainage capacity helps to stimulate regeneration in the area.
