Description

This is a complete skeleton, the first-ever find for Basilosaurus, a large, predatory, prehistoric archaeocete whale. It was uncovered in Wadi El Hitan, Egypt in 2016, preserved with the remains of its prey, including a Dorudon and several species of fish.
