Multiple infiltration ditches Kaatsheuvel park

Description

A very simple and practicle example.

Within this resort instead of a large sewer network for rainwater multiple small ditches are used. The park houses have their own infiltration systems. Surplus water can flow to the street and accumulate in the small ditches. This system has been effective, however flow from the street toward the ditches was often obstructed due to lack of slope. Small hand made gutters towards the ditches where constructed.
